My Story

Hi and welcome to Be You Mindfulness; my wee space on the big world of the internet, my happy place and the place where I invite you to grab a cuppa, have a nosy, get inspired and have fun bringing mindfulness in to your life.  Helping you find and unleash the best version of you as well as finding your happy!

 

I’m Kelly, a mum of two gorgeous girls who keep me well and truly on my toes, they are my complete inspiration and are one of the main reasons I began ‘Be You Mindfulness’. My wee family is made up of the girls, my husband Scott who is my best friend and soul mate (shhhh don’t tell him though) and our crazy dog Nala. My family is at the heart of everything I do, they are my inspiration and have steered me on to the path of mindfulness where I have truly found my purpose in life.  My Happy!

I created and started ‘Be you mindfulness’ in 2015; we provide mindfulness services to schools, communities, families and organisations. I am very lucky to work with people of all ages and back grounds from nursery children to young people and businesses to the elderly community. I am a qualified Mindfulness based stress reduction teacher, youth mindfulness teacher and a relax kids coach. I offer 1:1 services as well as group sessions and absolutely love what I do! I am so lucky to have found my passion and purpose and be able to help people, help themselves by teaching them amazing techniques that they can incorporate in to their lives in all situations.

I am now at the stage where I am ready to take the plunge and expand in to the wonderful world of online! Eeeek, now for those who know me will know how passionate I am about offering a face to face experience with mindfulness, I truly believe the best way to learn and experience mindfulness is in a group setting where we learn from each other’s experiences. This is still the case, but I am also very much aware of circumstances that face people trying to attend and/or commit to attending weekly sessions. As well as that I am listening to what my clients would like, they want support and materials they can access at home and a place they can go to get recommendations for all things mindfulness without having to trawl the internet.

 

Sooooo here it is my vision, my heart and soul on the web! This is it and I truly hope by visiting you will find the inspiration and the support you need to go for it and start bringing mindfulness in to your everyday life.

My vision is to create a friendly, supportive space for you to come to find ‘all things mindfulness’ from e-courses to meditation tools as well as sharing my personal experiences and learning – ‘the whole shebang’. My aim is to give you everything you need to guide you to find and be the best versions of yourself (I show you the way but you need to do the work!) at home, at work, at school. To be more mindful, connected and compassionate by living your life in the present and finding the beauty and delight in all the things around you as well as helping you to see you have the strength and grit to make if through even when times are tough.   

I am especially passionate about sharing this with our children teaching them amazing, fun but simple techniques as mindfulness is an extremely beneficial life skill that they can tap in to whenever they need it to help deal with the stresses and strains of everyday life as well as understanding and dealing with emotions in a healthy way.
