My Story
Hi and welcome to Be You Mindfulness; my wee space on the big world of the internet, my happy place and the place where I invite you to grab a cuppa, have a nosy, get inspired and have fun bringing mindfulness in to your life. Helping you find and unleash the best version of you as well as finding your happy!
I’m Kelly, a mum of two gorgeous girls who keep me well and truly on my toes, they are my complete inspiration and are one of the main reasons I began ‘Be You Mindfulness’. My wee family is made up of the girls, my husband Scott who is my best friend and soul mate (shhhh don’t tell him though) and our crazy dog Nala. My family is at the heart of everything I do, they are my inspiration and have steered me on to the path of mindfulness where I have truly found my purpose in life. My Happy!
I am a qualified Mindfulness based stress reduction teacher, youth mindfulness teacher, relax kids coach, certified familty trauma therapist, studying for my HPD in hypnotherapy, Diploma in advanced clinical hypnosis and mind therapies, SAHMT certificate in Mindfulness and Hypnosis, SAHMT certificate in Energy Psychology and Hypnosis and am about to undertake exciting Freemind training.
I have had the privilige to work with many organisations and specialise in working within Education and children and young peoples services. My Passion for helping people within these sectors to remain doing what they love without burning out or being squashed by the system and giving them the support to enhance the wellbeing of the children and young people they are working with really lights me up! I am soon to be launching a fantastic membership to reach and support leaders, workers and changemakers worldwide in this mission. I would love to see you there!
I offer a variety of 1:1 services for professionals, families and individuals both childrena dn adults, as well as group sessions and absolutely love what I do! I am so lucky to have found my passion and purpose and be able to help people, help themselves by teaching them amazing techniques that they can incorporate in to their lives in all situations.
The last few years i have worked hard to adapt my in person training to online whilst making sure it ise as good if not better than before and the feedback has been outstanding.

My vision is to create a community of like minded people who lead and teach our children and young people as well as ourselves with love, passion, purpose and connection.
My labour of love is taking the mundane and making it magic and creating effective, fun, purposeful and engaging training, activities and resources to enhance wellbeing, understand emotions and deal with the stresses and strains that come our way.
My biggest acheivement has been the creation of Connect & Grow my mindful activity programme for schools which was created over years of working within schools, listening to what teachers, parents and children would like. I am so proud of how this has transpired and get super excited to share it with anyone who will listen.
My aim is to give you everything you need to guide you to find and be the best versions of yourself (I show you the way but you need to do the work!) at home, at work, at school. To be more mindful, connected and compassionate by living your life in the present and finding the beauty and delight in all the things around you as well as helping you to see you have the strength and grit to make if through even when times are tough.
My vision is to create a friendly, supportive space for you to come to find ‘all things mindfulness’ from e-courses to meditation tools as well as sharing my personal experiences and learning – ‘the whole shebang’. My aim is to give you everything you need to guide you to find and be the best versions of yourself (I show you the way but you need to do the work!) at home, at work, at school. To be more mindful, connected and compassionate by living your life in the present and finding the beauty and delight in all the things around you as well as helping you to see you have the strength and grit to make if through even when times are tough.
I am especially passionate about sharing this with our children teaching them amazing, fun but simple techniques as mindfulness is an extremely beneficial life skill that they can tap in to whenever they need it to help deal with the stresses and strains of everyday life as well as understanding and dealing with emotions in a healthy way.
